2005 Music on the Prairie highlights.

Friday, July 15th.
About 70 folks came the the dance. Old time music was played by Darrel and the Pioneers. What fun that was.


Saturday, July 16th
The weather was forcast to be windy with thunderstorms later in the evening, so all the days events were held inside the hall.

Amateur music went on all day.
Performances by the "Real Country"band, Kevin and Mikayla Halone, Joanne Kemila, Marlene Smith, Jim Hoyhtya, Lyla Roerick, Rita (can't remember her last name), Bryant & Edna Lavallie, Johnny Halone
, Cheryl Haagenson, Alfred Juntunen & Cindy (Juntunen) Smith and a gospel group from Dunseith.

At 6:00 in the evening, the Fauske Fiddlers performed. They were accompanied by Johnny Halone on the guitar and and keyboard player. They received a standing ovation.

Later, at 8:00, Robby Vee and the V-Rock-Its gave a show. Another GREAT show. What energy. Folks were danceing to the 50s and 60s music. One of the highlights of the show was when Johnny Halone went on stage to play with Robby and his band.
